What I do:       

I offer Walking Therapy, Face-to-Face and online therapy from my private practice in beautiful Chesham Buckinghamshire.

I also offer Clinical supervision and reflective practice for therapy and other professionals.

Walking Therapy sessions in an outdoor environment combine the beneficial nature of physical movement, respectful dialogue and a non-judgmental relationship to empower clients awareness. 

Move forward to connect with yourself through nature and gain better understanding of your relationships. Free yourself from unhealthy patterns, release stress, build confidence and self-esteem as we walk, talk and work together in the open.

As life presents us with challenges it can be easy to become stuck in certain habits, destructive patterns of thinking and sustain unrealistic expectations of ourselves and others. The supported inquiry offered by walking and talking encourages insight, perspective and the space for growth towards sustainable change.

About Me:

I have a background in Fine Art and work as an artist as well as a therapist.

My appreciation for creativity in all its forms, has formed a foundation in his client work that can enhance and expedite an individuals personal growth. Dan offers Walking Therapy sessions and also works as a Creative Psychotherapist. He is a registered member of the British Association for Counseling and Psychotherapy. 

In 2015 I took the time to journey across Spain, walking the Camino de Santiago. This became the inspiration for Walk It Out. Initially a hiking trip, the Camino quickly became a place for deeper personal inquiry and reflection. Through this I recognized the beneficial connection between physical movement and personal growth, a connection I wishes to share with his clients. 

In Walking Therapy sessions, I use experience to build strong working relationships with my clients. This safe and judgement free space enables the exploration of any issues that may arise, and supports the client to choose the path of the investigation. This in turn empowers the individual to apply change in themselves resulting in sustainable outcomes.

Locations & Rates:

Regular Talking and Creative Therapy sessions are held at Dan’s private practice on Chesham Moor.

Walking, Face-to-Face and Online sessions are 65 pounds per full hour and Walking sessions may be extended to an hour and a half, if after discussion, both client and counsellor agree this would be beneficial. (Additional charge applies to extended sessions)
